The NXTR S model is a high-end pick and place machine that inherits the concepts of the highly-popular NXT series. This model is designed with a truly modular concept, allowing for the optimal line configuration that caters to production needs at user sites.

Key features of the NXTR S model include its real-time sensing placement, optimized placement actions, and part handling checks after placement, ensuring a high level of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance. The real-time sensing technology monitors the status of the machine, controlling the stress on parts and panels simultaneously, which ensures stable, high-quality placement.

High accuracy placement is a standard feature of the NXTR S model. Placements can be performed with a high accuracy of ±25 um at all times, irrespective of the head type or the part to be placed. The machine also controls the push-in amount during placement, allowing for placement with the appropriate pressure.

The AIMEXR is a versatile machine designed to be an all-rounder for the new era, that excels in high-mix production and variable-mix variable-volume production. The AIMEXR is particularly strong in supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) for starting new production quickly and providing immediate support for production type changes with batch changeovers.

The AIMEXR has an expanded panel size so that it is possible to place parts in a range up to 1,068 x 610 mm. In addition, panel warpage up to 7 mm is supported.

With the expanded range of parts that can be supported, the newly developed heads contribute to line balancing and flexible production without drops in production rates even when a different set of parts is used in the next production. The machine achieves even faster placement rates by supporting the new RH28 heads.

Automatic part data creation and on-machine editing using a large touchscreen panel makes it possible to easily ramp up new production and smoothly respond to sudden changes for parts and programs.

The AIMEXR can also be used to prevent placement defects caused by operation errors and defective parts, by equipping LCR units that check the electrical properties of chip parts, and coplanarity units that check the leads and bumps on IC parts.

The AIMEXR has also been designed with the environment in mind. The machine power consumption has been reduced by 10% by using highly efficient motors, and efforts have been taken to reduce the environmental impact during the coating process.

High Accuracy Solder Printing Machine---GPX-CII

The GPX-CII is a high-accuracy solder printing machine that is part of the highly-rated GPX series. This machine is known for its excellent cost performance, superior printing accuracy, and speed.

A notable feature of the GPX-CII is its stability. Its consistent, highly rigid machine design from the base to printing section enables high accuracy printing for any task - from ultra fine patterns (0201 mm (008004")) to the printing of large panels - and the durability to maintain printing quality. An alignment accuracy of ±12 um, together with Fuji's original print pressure feedback control, reduces variation in the solder filling amount.

The GPX-CII also boasts automation features for cost effectiveness and time-saving. Automatic solder supply always ensures a stable amount of solder. A unit for directly setting solder cups is also available, reducing the cost of maintenance and the operation time by eliminating needless filling work. During cleaning, the range in which cleaning fluid is applied is automatically adjusted to match the width of the panel, so that only the amount of fluid needed is used.

A new automatic mask exchange unit that conveys masks to the GPX-CII using an AMR, and exchanges masks automatically at the machine, will also be on show at the Fuji booth at Productronica China.
